Best Western Plus Clarks Summit Scranton Hotel, Clarks Summit

Upon arrival, I found the hotel to be a mix of positives and negatives. While the room was initially uncomfortable due to an issue with the air conditioning, the staff quickly resolved the problem by moving us to a more comfortable room. The cleanliness and readiness of the rooms were impressive, but the unpleasant smell was a major drawback. Service was friendly overall but marred by encountering smoking staff near the entrance. The location was convenient for my needs, but the upkeep of the property, especially the pool area, left much to be desired. Dining options were limited, although the overall experience was not terrible.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious and fairly clean, but the carpet was old and dusty. The cleanliness of the beds was reassuring despite the worn-out appearance of the room. However, when we checked in, there were only enough towels for two people, even though the room was meant for six. The spray of Febreze tried to cover up any lingering odors. The hotel fell short of expectations based on misleading photos.

My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant, with clean and comfortable rooms and friendly staff. However, there were some minor issues with the room temperature and occasional smell, and the dining options were a bit lacking. The location was convenient with plenty of nearby eateries, but the pricing could have been more competitive.
